La pubblicazione, commissionata dall’Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen, esamina le dimensioni e la portata della società civile in Europa e in che misura sia attiva e visibile all’interno del settore pubblico europeo. Emerge che, nonostante le numerose differenze tra i vari Stati, la società civile è un fenomeno con forti radici nella tradizione europea, ha strutture consolidate e sarà sempre di più una forza trainante dello sviluppo dell’Europa.
