Nel 2008, la Ford Foundation ha iniziato a utilizzare il Grantee Perception Report (GPR) condotto dal Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP) per ottenere un feedback fondamentale sulla percezione che le organizzazioni che supporta hanno sull’ente. Tra allora e il 2017, il CEP ha somministrato il sondaggio per conto della Ford quattro volte… e i risultati sono stati sempre deludenti.
È stato intorno al 2017, dopo il nostro quarto sondaggio, che la Ford Foundation si è impegnata intenzionalmente a rafforzare il suo ruolo di organizzazione che apprende, dedicando persone e risorse attraverso la creazione al suo interno l’Office of Strategy and Learning. L’istituzione ha iniziato a elaborare politiche, pratiche e modalità di coinvolgimento che consentissero di migliorare sulla base di prove empiriche. E, poco meno di tre anni dopo, nel sondaggio successivo, i punteggi sono nettamente migliorati.

ONLINE IL RAPPORTO “LA DISCRIMINAZIONE DELLE COMUNITÀ ROMANI NEL 2023″
Il rapporto annuale, a cura Fundación Secretariado Gitano, illustra nel dettaglio i 532 casi di discriminazione e hashtag #antiziganismo trattati dall’organizzazione nel 2022. Lo studio conferma che gli atti di discriminazione nei confronti delle comunità Romani continuano a verificarsi in tutti gli ambiti della vita sociale: istruzione, occupazione, salute, alloggio, accesso a beni e servizi, ecc.
In particolare, il rapporto illustra i diversi ambiti e ambienti in cui le persone hanno subito discriminazioni: tra i più importanti quelli sui social media e in ambito educativo , con la discriminazione nei confronti di studenti Romani da parte di insegnanti e studenti.

MacKenzie Scott has given away over $14 billion to some 1,600 nonprofits since 2019 – a pace of funding unlike any had seen in modern billionaire philanthropy. Up until recently, the process for getting a grant from Scott was opaque. Grant recipients, unaware they were being considered by Scott’s team, would receive a call with the announcement. Some thought they were getting pranked.
