Delphine Moralis, che entrerà in carica come Chief Executive di EFC a settembre, è Segretario Generale di Terre des Hommes International Federation con diversi anni di esperienza internazionale nella creazione e nella guida di associazioni e organizzazioni paneuropee, anche nel settore dei diritti umani e dello sviluppo.
Delphine – la prima donna Chief Executive di EFC – succede a Gerry Salole, che ha guidato EFC negli ultimi 15 anni.

Il 1° luglio lo European Policy Centre, insieme a DAFNE (Donors and Foundations Networks in Europe) e a EFC, ha organizzato un dibattito online su come i policy-makers e il mondo della filantropia europea possano rafforzare la loro collaborazione per sostenere la transizione. Durante il dibattito, sono state evidenziate le risposte delle fondazioni ed enti filantropici di tutta Europa durante la fase di emergenza e si è discusso di come affrontare le sfide che la filantropia si trova davanti.

HOW AFRICAN PHILANTHROPY RESPONDS IN A CRISIS
Africa will likely not be spared from the public health and economic ravages of the COVID-19 global pandemic. But while the global community struggles to respond with timely aid and as funders focus on addressing the crisis in their own countries, homegrown sources of support have already sprung into action. African philanthropists have made large commitments in response to the crisis in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and elsewhere on the continent.
RESOURCING REVIVAL AND RESILIENCE BUILDING
With Europe slowly opening again, our attention turns to how philanthropy can build a resilient civil society, more equitable and better equipped for future points of crisis. As we transition to this revival phase, DAFNE is collecting resources relevant to philanthropy infrastructure organisations in the European Resource Hub 2.0 “COVID-19 Revival & Philanthropy”.
