I vari attori e network devono raccontare le loro esperienze, condividere la loro conoscenza, unirsi in un’unica voce e coordinare le risorse dedicate all’emergenza climatica per affrontarla al meglio.
DAFNE (Donors and Foundations Networks in Europe) ha quindi realizzato una prima mappatura dei network e le piattaforme che già si occupano di clima.

Lo scorso 3-4 dicembre si è tenuta online la seconda edizione del C Summit 2020, co-organizzata da DAFNE (Donors and Foundations Networks in Europe) e EVPA (European Venture Philanthropy Association), un’occasione di confronto e approfondimento unica tra fondazioni corporate, e non solo, e corporate social investors a livello europeo. Tante le esperienze, idee, testimonianze condivise nei diversi panel da ospiti e partecipanti di tutta Europa.
Un messaggio chiaro e forte è emerso: non possiamo più parlare del perché bisogna collaborare e lavorare insieme per far fronte alle sfide di oggi, ma di come farlo.

IL CONTESTO GIURIDICO PER LA FILANTROPIA IN EUROPA
Philanthropy Advocacy, un’iniziative congiunta di DAFNE (Donors and Foundations Networks in Europe) e EFC (European Foundation Centre), ha pubblicato la quinta edizione del rapporto che mostra il panorama legale e fiscale per la filantropia nei singoli Paesi Membri.
Lo sforzo è stato realizzato grazie al contributo di esperti dei singoli Stati: ogni profilo di ogni singolo Paese contiene informazioni quali i requisiti per diventare fondazione ed ente filantropico, obblighi, trattamento fiscale, definizione dell’attività, ma anche trend e sviluppi negli anni.

ALLIANCE SURVEY REVEALS MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES RISING IN GLOBAL PHILANTHROPY SECTOR
More than half of respondents to an Alliance survey reported that the mental health and well-being of people in their organisation has deteriorated since the Covid-19 pandemic started. This is one of the key findings of Alliance’s annual survey, published today ahead of Alliance’s new issue on health philanthropy, which looked at the impact of the pandemic on the philanthropy sector.
