The £5,000 prize is supported by Charities Aid Foundation, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and Vladimir Potanin Foundation, and will be awarded to an individual who has demonstrated remarkable leadership, creativity and results in developing philanthropy for progressive social change in an emerging market country or countries. The closing date for nominations is 19 December 2017
The final winner of the prize will then be selected by an international panel of judges and all finalists will be invited to attend and speak at a global philanthropy conference early in 2018, as well as being featured in a special supplement published in February 2018 and on the Alliance website.
