#PhilanthropyForClimate: SII CORAGGIOSO, AGISCI VELOCEMENTE, PENSA IN GRANDE

L’emergenza climatica è la crisi del nostro tempo. E la filantropia può giocare un ruolo chiave nel processo di trasformazione volto a raggiungere la neutralità climatica. Oggi, però, solo il 2% delle risorse filantropiche sono destinate a questo tema. Questo dato potrebbe trarre in inganno e non restituire la fotografia di quello che sta effettivamente succedendo: da due anni a questa parte, in diverse nazioni e a livello si sta lavorando alla costruzione di un vero e proprio movimento globale della filantropia per il clima #PhilanthropyForClimate.

In questo articolo, Lars Grotewold, Head of Climate Action, Stiftung Mercator, in occasione della pubblicazione della mappatura europea realizzata da Philea, delinea il ruolo che le organizzazioni di supporto alla filantropia hanno nell’accelerare i processi di apprendimento, facilitare lo scambio di informazioni e le collaborazioni per far fronte all’emergenza climatica. Perchè una sfida che si può vincere solo insieme!
