LANCIO PUBBLICO DI PHILEA – PHILANTHROPY EUROPE ASSOCIATION
Philea – Philanthropy Europe Association è la nuova organizzazione europea che nasce dal processo di convergenza, durato 12 mesi, tra Dafne-Donors and Foundations Networks in Europe e EFC (European Foundation Centre).
Philea rappresenterà le oltre 10.000 fondazioni ed enti filantropici del nostro continente e ambisce a rafforzare il sistema filantropico europeo, con una visione e direzione condivisa, come spazio aperto e collaborativo per tutti coloro che credono nel ruolo fondamentale della filantropia quale partner per la costruzione di un futuro sostenibile, equo, inclusivo e giusto.
L’evento di lancio online, che si terrà il 7 dicembre alle 16.30 sarà l’occasione, da un lato, di rendere omaggio ai risultati raggiunti e alla storia sia di Dafne che di EFC, e, dall’altro, di condividere con tutti voi la visione di Philea per il futuro, i valori che la definiscono e la motivano, nonché di ascoltare le voci chiave che hanno contribuito a co-creare questo nuovo orizzonte per la filantropia europea.

FEMMINICIDI: DIAMOGLI UN NOME, CONTIAMOLI E PONIAMOLI UNA FINE!
Il femminicidio è l’uccisione di donne e ragazze a causa del loro sesso. Può includere omicidi intenzionali, come l’uccisione di donne da parte dei loro attuali o ex partner, così come omicidi non intenzionali, come la morte di una donna che si sottopone a un aborto non sicuro.
Secondo i dati ufficiali raccolti dall’EIGE (European Institute for Gender Equality), 444 donne in 10 Stati membri dell’Unione Europea sono state uccise dai loro partner nel 2020.
L’EIGE ha quindi rilasciato un pacchetto per aiutare i paesi dell’UE a raccogliere dati solidi per prevenire tali uccisioni.

This event was part of Alliance’s 25th anniversary series. It was produced in partnership with the Chronicle of Philanthropy and was sponsored by Jumpstart Capacity Building.
Moderated by Charles Keidan, executive editor of Alliance, the speakers were Stacy Palmer, editor of Chronicle of Philanthropy; Cyndi Suarez, editor of The Nonprofit Quarterly; Glenn Gamboa, philanthropy editor of Associated Press; and Teddy Schleifer, founding partner of Puck News.
DRIVING IMPACT FOR PERSON WITH DISABILITIES – A SMILE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD
In the film industry, Italian dubbing is universally recognised as the best in the world. In recent years, new technologies have reduced the size of the equipment, making it possible to have mobile workstations that can be adapted to the most varied needs.
In 2011 the project’s initial idea was to train new dubbers and, from 2016, it was expanded to bring dubbing as a recreational / training activity to paediatric patients with professional dubbing rooms being brought to the wards. The project also collaborates with the schools of the Tuscany Region.
Each meeting, which involves participants’ interaction with Experia professionals and modern technology, gives the opportunity to deepen participants’ knowledge of the audiovisual sector, and offers the ability to create a finished product by working in phases, steps or even in different moments and places.
The adaptability of the project to the most disparate environments, including hospitals, was therefore a strength.
