Negli ultimi due anni, Global Greengrants ha sostenuto più di 60 organizzazioni in 30 Paesi che lavorano per coinvolgere le persone con disabilità in azioni di giustizia ambientale. In questa conversazione con Yolanda e Peter Kostishack, vicepresidente e direttore dei programmi di Global Greengrants, i due riflettono su ciò che stanno imparando sulle connessioni tra diritti delle persone disabili e giustizia ambientale e su ciò che serve per costruire movimenti più inclusivi.
ECFI WORKSHOP – FONDAZIONI DI COMUNITÀ E CRISI CLIMATICA

In questo workshop interattivo, organizzato da ECFI (European Community Foundation Initiative), fondazioni di comunità e organizzazioni di supporto alla filantropia di comunità da tutta Europa potranno confrontarsi e condividere esperienze su iniziative sistemiche messe in campo per far fronte alla crisi climatica. Verranno proposti contributi di esperti e casi di studio selezionati per offrire esempi del ruolo delle fondazioni di comunità nel formare e informare, impegnare risorse, attuare investimenti responsabili e ridurre la propria impronta ecologica che aiuteranno a stimolare la riflessione e la discussione.

INVESTING IN YOUTH IMPACT: A TOOLKIT ON FUNDING YOUTH-LED ORGANISATIONS
While commissioned and authored by CHOICE, this short toolkit was made possible by the passionate contributions of nearly 150 activists, organisations, and donors. The main audience is youth-led organisations, but this toolkit also set out to share insights and best practices to make funding more accessible to youth.
MYRIAD, NEW CROSS-BORDER ALLIANCE FOR GIVING, LAUNCHED BY KING BADOUIN FOUNDATION AND GIVE2ASIA
Myriad, a new alliance for cross-border giving, has been launched by the King Baudouin Foundation and Give2Asia.
The alliance, created to ease and encourage charitable donations across borders worldwide, is open to further partners in other regions, and is seeking to nurture the growth of global philanthropic movements and to help individuals, families, and corporations to engage with each other globally.
The alliance means donors on four continents can now support charities in nearly 100 countries while benefitting from standardised services, fees and, typically, tax benefits in their home states.
GRANTS FOR CLEAN AIR LESS THAN ONE PER CENT OF TOTAL GLOBAL PHILANTHROPIC FUNDING
Philanthropic funding for clean air amounts to 0.1 per cent of grants worldwide, according to a new report from the Clean Air Fund. And while philanthropic funding for clean air projects has increased, it is largely disbursed by climate, environmental, and energy funders, and mainly directed to North America, Europe, India, China, and global projects.
