In questo primo rapporto, pubblicato nell’ambito del programma europeo ‘Re:framing Migrants in European Media cofinanziato da European Cultural Foundation, si analizza come i social media contribuiscano a una narrativa errata e tossica e silenzino i gruppi marginalizzati. All’interno del progetto è stato anche realizzato l’Anti-Racist Media Test che valuta le condizioni di lavoro dei giornalisti dei media tradizionali e il modo in cui le notizie e gli articoli ritraggono i migranti in Europa.

NEW £3M FUND FOR COMMUNITIES RESISTING RACIAL INJUSTICE
The Baobab Collective Fund is a new £3 million fund to grow, sustain, and strengthen Black and Global Majority communities that are resisting racial injustice in the UK. It will offer grants between £5,000 and £30,000 per year for up to five years.
