We organize peer-to-peer moments of dialogue, exchange, and in-depth discussion – both online and in person – on the practices and processes of foundations and philanthropic organisations, particularly:
We explore and share experiences and studies on how foundations and philanthropic organisations can evolve their funding and support practices, expanding the range of instruments in their toolkit and the ways in which they deploy resources – both financial and non-financial – to better support the organisations they work with and to more effectively achieve their mission.
We explore the key role of governance for foundations and philanthropic organisations in achieving their mission: creating spaces for peer-to-peer dialogue to investigate and delve into different governance models, also based on the type of foundation (community foundation, family foundation, corporate foundation).
We investigate the strategic role of the endowment, management and investment practices that align with the mission of the foundation and philanthropic organisation.
Together with our partner TechSoup Italy, we explore the ways in which foundations and philanthropic organisations can introduce and adopt digitalization processes within their organisations from a strategic perspective.
Thanks to our initiative "(C)officer – a coffee for officers", we provide a space to discuss and deepen communication strategies and campaigns to strengthen the positioning of organisations and their programs.
We intersect our work on processes with the type of foundation (corporate, community, and family foundations) to ensure more specific spaces for discussion and to achieve greater effectiveness and impact.
We also offer strategic support and personalised dialogue moments to our members to investigate specific issues and connect them with other organizations within the membership base or with organizations and individuals in the Assifero ecosystem. Additionally, at the request of our members, we conduct analysis and benchmarking on philanthropic practices at both national and international levels.
Strategic support for the Third Sector Reform
Within the framework of the Third Sector Reform and following the new regulations that have come into effect, Assifero organizes group and individual informational sessions focused on key topics of interest for foundations and philanthropic organisations, such as statutory changes, registration within the RUNTS – the Unified National Register of the Third Sector, and changes to the tax regime and tax benefits.
