Future Chair

We are committed to promoting and creating safe spaces for a mutually respectful, open, and meaningful dialogue and a peer-to-peer exchange with young people within the organization’s processes and programmes and its decision-making bodies.  

We are committed to removing obstacles, including those of a socio-economic nature, and to ensuring enabling conditions for young people to participate and express their views freely and meaningfully, overcoming stereotypes and prejudices based on age. 

We are committed to raising awareness among the governance, staff and all the stakeholders of the organisations to actively listen to young people's views. We are committed to supporting the capacity building of the skills necessary, both of adults and the youngest, to meaningfully interact. 

We are committed to taking into account and following up on the ideas and views expressed by young people, if possible, in an ongoing and structured way, consciously addressing any cultural norms or barriers that may be in the way. We are committed to reconsidering our organisation's internal decision-making processes so that they can be geared towards active and meaningful participation of young people. 

We are committed to publicly inform about the development of the processes put in place and the results achieved, to comply with the principles subscribed to in this declaration. 

We are committed to promoting these principles and the value of intergenerational dialogue with any stakeholder.
